Default Jacks

Ok, think i probably bought the wrong jack. Anyway to make this work on our bikes? Looks like obvious plastic/frame issues prevent its use.

I don't know if you removed the lower fairings if it would work or not. It seems that most of those "bike" jacks are for cruisers.

yeah my dad has that stand and its for a bike with a full frame unlike our bikes where the engine is a component of the frame...i have those t rex stands off ebay and it was 100 bucks for the set great investment if you want to get a nice set of stands just for basic service

with the plastics off there still is not a flat base to use with the one you got. You can make it work by using 2x4's or what have you to shim things to create a flat base to lift from but its hardly an idea solution.
I'd just return it and get a rear stand (I like PitBull) and then pick up a front stand down the road if you feel the need for one.

Ive been one upped by the answer guru. but the black one is prettier and has better holds on it to keep the bike steady... right?

but wait if you really want to go cheap you can always get one of these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCISS...spagenameZWDVW

and then get one of these and bolt it to the above item http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-Wid...spagenameZWDVW
and you would have a real cheap lift. though i dont know if i would trust it unless it was bolted to the floor.

That setup on ebay looks like a motorcycle teeter toter Or an accident waiting to happen. But if your in the market for new plastics what the heck give her a try.

What's that contraption on the front of the Harbor Freight lift that appears to be for holding the front wheel in place???

The other one looks like an over priced ironing board
