Default Perfection

Man, my bike is running and handling great. I started off with a Yoshi-RS3 can. This gave me some popping and a dead spot around 6k. Fixed the dead spot by shimming the carbs. Fixed the popping with Ivan Air Induction Removal kit. Fixed the rear suspension with an Elka shock. What a difference. So that's it. I've done everything I want to the bike and am perfectly happy with it. Total spent on mods = $1,080. Total spent on appearance mods = $0.

Performance
Elka Shock - - $700
Shims - $2
Air Induction Kit - $43
Yoshi RS-3 - $265
Swingarm Spools - $25
Tech Spec Tank Grips - $45

No thoughts on doing something with the fork?
I don't want to spring for a new shock - anyone know off hand what other bike shocks will fit (and work better)? I thought I read somewhere that the ZX10 one did and was a far better unit?

I guess another question would be, since the suspension on the 02 ZX-6 is supposedly different from the ZZR, would finding one of these be considered an upgrade?

You know, I don't think my RS-3 came with a baffle. Was yours in the pipe when you got it? Mine just has two holes where it looks like a baffle could be screwed it. Did I miss something in the box?
