ptroy Back Marker Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Appleton, WI Age: 23 Posts: 31 Casino Cash: $250 Sportbike: 2001 Kawasaki ZX-6R	problems with speedo '01 zx-6r OK so like a month ago I installed the ignition advancer on my bike. After that the speedo is real touchy. Move it by foot and the speed o jumps to 10 mph. It pulsates when accelerating. Tested it according to the manual and it shows I should replace it. The one question I have is if it's shot would it not register a right reading ,because when I cruise it shows my speed. I'm kinda reluctant to spend $95 on a speedo sensor, since that prolly isn't the answer. Any solutions to the problem? I checked all the wiring and was fine.
