Default Front flushmount LED problem/issue...

Here's the situation... I have the LED tail light from ebay that code2medic has, a tridon EL-12 flasher, and stock front signals... everything runs normal, flashers are at a normal rate, when brake is engaged or when tail lights are running ON, the flasher will flash and simply cancel either the brake or ON for the split second...

Now the issue...

I installed those "coffin-like" LED front flush mount blinkers from ebay, and...
1. the flasher rate is very slow, slower than normal
2. the rear tail light doesn't work at all, brake or ON, but does flash...
3. if I put the stock front blinkers back, everything is back to normal
4. if I put the coffin LEDs up front, and the STOCK flasher relay, everything works normally, meaning the tail light works like it should, BUT the flasher rate is the usual fast after you install LEDs...

in short, my tail light doesn't work other than the blinkers, when EL-12 relay is installed with the front flush mount LED blinkers...

any suggestions...

Perhaps if your mixing LED's and regular incandescent bulbs there is no need for the EL-12 relay. Try the stock relay and see what happens.

Interesting.... Hey Lecchilo, let us know if you find anything out. I was planning on putting some led flush mounts within the next two weeks.

Look at #4 above... if I put the stock relay, with LEDs all around, it acts at the "normal" fast rate, but everything works... that's how i'm leaving it for now, until/if I figure out the rest...

There is a load equalizer you can use in conjunction with the el12 tridon flasher that the dealer sells for about 4-5 bucks. I believe its something like a kurakyk i'm not sure but I'll try to look it up. Either way with leds up front and incandescents in the back it will flash normal with that set up.

I have LEDs front and back... tail light is the LED tail light from ebay which has both flashers and brake/on as LEDs... please let me know more info about the load equalizer... I think zzrocket has it as well... I'll ask him about it

Ok i am confused you have LED front turn signals And the same tail light that i have. With the normal stock flasher everything works correct according to post 4 and what you said in your second post?

Whats the problem then if all for leds are flashing normal and the brake lights up I dont see your issue

Ok after rereading and trying to figure out your chicago slang it seems that the only problem is that its flashing fast correct?

Now if i am not mistaken the after market flash you have will work for 4 individual units with leds in it did you read father into it about the part where you need to wire in a incandescent in order for the flasher to work right

Yea haha... the only thing "wrong" is the LEDs, front and back, flash fast with the stock relay... with the EL-12 relay, front LEDs and rear LEDs will flash very slowly, slower than normal, but tail doesn't work at all, ON or brake.

I didn't read anything about the incandescent... I guess a load equalizer would solve that issue?
