Default baffle vs non baffle

yoshi rs-3 bolt on

just wanted to see how many people ride with the baffle in or with the baffle out and the plus's to the neg's if any

i ride with the baffle out love the sound but find the bike to run like balls any time its under 6k and when i am rolling on the gas i find it has some dead spots

i run with it in. i get the same issues i'm sure it's because it runs lean with the baffle out. i guess maybe the carb shim mod might help with that. i'm not sure about that. i have yet to do the shim yet.

I ride without the baffle because my RS-3 didn't come with a baffle (not sure if it was supposed to.) My bike ran crappy down low after I installed the RS-3. When I shimmed the carbs that went away and now the bike runs perfectly at every RPM. I do get quite a bit of popping on deceleration, but I'm going to install Ivan's Air Induction kit and hopefully that will stop the popping.

guess i'm the oddball out, i don't have the baffle's in mine and mine feels like the throttle is a little bit more snappy than with it in. i also get the crackle and pop with deceleration

yah i was reading about alot of people shimming the carb with this pipe it like a hit or miss but i am not sure how you do it? one is it hard and two does it cost alot to have some one do it if you dont feel like riping the bike apart because i love the non baffle sound but it just runs so shity

On my Micron exhaust, i dont have the baffle. Runs great. But on deacceleration, there is a pop. Dunno.
