To all the military and retired; where is a good place to put your base sticker at? I hate that adhesive gunk; you can never get it off so i don't really want to put it on the windscreen.
They made me put mine on the frame.. You cant put it on Removable parts like the Windscreen or Plastics because someone could take them off and get on base with your decal.

I am an active duty MP on a Marine Corps base so therefore I am going to let you know the protocol for all bases can and may differ so I run across stickers on may places on the bike. I have not heard of anyone not allowing it on a plastic part(sound stupid to me). If you would prefer for it to be easily seen for when your approaching the gate so maybe they just wont stop you, put it near the front. If you prefer to come to a complete stop and have him search for it on the side of the bike I would personally recommend to put the DOD decal here:
I prefer it here because the MP will see my id on my ICON military spec jacket(extremely helpful for bases). Then as I come to a complete stop he see my sticker on the side of my bike as my leg comes down. But to anyone I pass while riding my bike(either direction they are traveling) they will not see the sticker and not feel any aggression towards me because of my military status. Try that question in the military forum if you need further assistance:
Bike - 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600 - SilverGoodies - Yoshimura RS-3 Stainless Steel Oval Bolt-On with Race Baffles exhaust, Goodridge Stainless Steel Front Brake Lines, Factory Pro Ignition Advancer 4 degrees, KN&N Performance Air filter, R&G Frame Sliders, R&G Racing Slider Bar Ends, Zero Gravity Dark Smoke Double Bubble Windscreen, MOTOTECK undertail with intergrated LED amber turn signals, MOTOTECK Flushed front LED turn signals, LED Brake Lights,
Great idea! I ended up putting it on the upper frame over the bike sticker. On my weekend rides I have some spare 20% window tint over the decal; my bike is black so it blends it pretty well.
When I was in the military we put the sticker on the left front shock housing. But I like the look better on the left side frame better
thanks!

Every base takes it differently but the most visible=less shit, i prefer it not to be seen as well bc many ppl dislike military folk

I just recently learned that ALL Air Force bases have done away with vehicle decals (due to the 100% ID enforcement). What this means for motorcycle entry, I'm not sure. This weekend I asked the guards on base, but they weren't aware of the requirement for motorcycles.
