Default bottom torque

what is the best way to increase torque on the bottom end? i have a 2005 zzr.I was also thinking about getting a jet kit because there is a little lag in the throttle.

IMO jet kits are great if your going to install a full exhaust system. But if your going with a bolt-on pipe they really aren't needed. I found that after the installation of my Yoshimura RS-3, K&N air filter the low end torque increased. And after I shimmed my carb needles with washers from RadioShack for a $1.99 the whole mid range power band was much smoother and the torque increased.

Having trouble finding parts for your 2005-2008 ZZR600? Try searching for parts that will fit a 2000-2002 ZX6R "J" model.

The 2005-2008 ZZR600 has one gas tank! It holds a total of 4.8 gallons of which 3.7 is available until you have to switch to reserve to use the remaining 1.1 gallons of gas.

That won't do anything number changing, just change up the accessibility of your power band.
