I recently found a $2 Silver Metallic sharpie in my friends toolbox the other day and decided to experiment. I colored each black screw, check out how it turned out, i can get better pictures when its not raining out. I also started on the tire treads, if you could tell me what you think of that.
Also wanted to say Hi to all the ZZR members, this is my first post and i love my bike, put 3000 miles on her in less than 2 months.
Well i think i may have gone too far on the front tire, and i dont wanna get nail polish on anything, so i guess i have to finish it unless you guys have any suggestions.

I suggest sticking to sniffing the sharpies and keep em away from the tires.
I have to agree with the rest of the guys, if I want silver screws I will buy stianless steel ones. As for the tires, they look as if you took the bike out on to a dirt track and clogged the tire full of mud. Please put the sharpie down and step away from the bike. Little boys shouldn't have crayons if they can't play nice.
You want colored tires? Spend you hard earned cash on these ugly things.

Well i would buy stainless screws but you have to understand i am also paying $16,000/year to go to a university (entering my 3rd year), which means i dont have much money other than for gas, insurance, and the payment. Im fine with the color matching almost perfectly for only 2 bucks, and i'm sure anyone else that is tight on cash agrees with me.
As for the tires, yea i messed them up and regret it, lol. I will not be doing the back tire, maybe eventually it will wear off, if not, oh well.
Also, how many miles do the tires usually get out of them for normal driving conditions, no burnouts.
My tires have about 3100 miles on them, but I do allot of aggressive back road twisties riding. Lots of back roads with great curves here in south eastern Indiana. The front tire is beggining to cup. And the rear has evenly worn from edge to edge from the aggressive lean angles. Which are the most fun anyway. After I return from my July Deals Gap trip the Dunlops are coming off and I'm getting Michelin Piolt Powers installed.
