Default Under tail - Fender elimination

I would like to remove the rear fender, or at least shorten it past the license plate. Has anybody cut their's, or is the best way to buy a kit? If i need to buy a kit, does any body have suggestions to which ones and where to buy?

Thanks,
Mr Dude

Nice find for those with older model ZX6R's or ZZR600's. Now you have to have it painted somewhere which going to cost another $100.00 or so. MOTOTECK offers 14 different colors including primer colored. And colorrite paint is very expensive. A 1/2 pint can of Galaxy Silver paint is $72.95. A 1/2 pint can of base coat is $72.95. A pint of clear coat is $37.95. Plus what it would cost to have it painted. Not very cost effective at all. I say go with MOTOTECK they have very fast shipping for a company that is out of the country. Do the math.

Did you by chance email them and ask if you can have that painted silver for extra money? I liked that kit and was thinking of replacing my Pit-eck kit with that one if the LED's are brighter. I emailed them and the sent a reply saying they would paint it silver for an extra $30.

When I ordered my Mototeck, It had the option for Galaxy silver. The colors matched perfect. ZZRrocket is right!! It took me 6 working days to get my undertail. That is better shipping time then I get from most companies within the coutry.

( Sears has taken, so far, 5 weeks to get a part to me for my riding mower. The part wieghts less than 1lb!! WTF)

It's your bike, you will get whatever results you put into it. If you go cheap it will look cheap. My 2 cents

Dude, you come on the boards and ask for advise. If you don't like the criticism, then don't come to the boards and ask. Rocket was just stating the facts. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

Um Marines , shouldn't you be overseas somewhere tough guy?? Been there done that already I gave 13 years of my life to this country and one jarhead is not going to tell me to "Shut The F@#k Up"

Like cadi197, said if you can't take it. Take it somewhere else. I simply stated to you a few options for your mod. and there possible outcome. I also helped you with your paint question since you couldn't figure out what company made Galaxy silver paint for the 06 ZZR600. For a Marine your not very resourceful. Maybe you should work on your "Overcome and adapt skills" a little. Lead, Follow, or Get Out Of The Way.

Here's your poor little out cry for help, "Originally Posted by T123

No prob. It irritates me when people seek advice and when it is given they don't like the truth and act like a#@holes.

BTW, Nice ride Rocket.
