Default Help 06 ZZR600

Hi. Well, I installed a Minus1 fender. I got an extra stock fender from a friend which I cut, I didn't want to cut the original one.

Fixed. Thanks for the input. I replaced the hose just like you said, placed it downwards, I thought it was for something, haha.

I forgot to screw the battery. OMG, I should just have double checked everything but then I wasn't sure what the hose was for.

Thanks for all the help. Now, time to get a new tire.

Cranks then gone. Sorry this is kinda naive but this is the first time I did this myself so I am not sure if that is the actual reason. I put off working on it until tomorrow, kinda tired now. And I just saw a nail in my rear tire and it's flat, most likely from my ride to Shenandoah VA, so I guess I won't be riding soon.

Is the engine turning over good or is it not turning over good?. Be specific in your answers and we can help you.

Thats just a vent tube or overflow I think, any gas lines wouldnt make your bike just click like that anyway. That tube just goes down near the bottom of the engine.Sounds like your battery needs a charge. If its actually turning over but not starting then you have a lack of gas or spark. If its just a click or clicking its likely the battery.

Sorry I didn't get back to you, as the other members have said that's an overflow tube. Its sounds you have other problems. It's a new bike with a warranty, let the dealership figure out your problem.

Having trouble finding parts for your 2005-2008 ZZR600? Try searching for parts that will fit a 2000-2002 ZX6R "J" model.

The 2005-2008 ZZR600 has one gas tank! It holds at total of 4.8 gallons of which 3.7 is available until you have to switch to reserve to use the remaining 1.1 gallons of gas.
