Default new givi cases

I just ordered a set of givi e21 bags and mounting bracket for my '06 zzr600.
One problem, I have to wait 4-6 weeks for the mounting bracket to be shipped from the states. Anyone have pics of hard cases on their bikes?

What's the part number for the Givi mounting bracket for a 06 ZZR600. Please post pictures once you get everything installed. I would like to see what it looks like. Thanks Jay

The mounting bracket is the pl 442. That was from Givi and confirmed by twisted throttle. As soon as the brackets come in, I will post pics.
I already received the cases. I was afraid that the cases would be a little small. I am pleased. My Joe Rocket jacket easily fits in one case. The same for my Cortech pants. I just wanted to have a little storage, but not as large as some cases i have seen

That bites. I feel your pain. I hate it when someone sends you the wrong part. So you are reordering the right bracket right?

Unfortunately the bracket they sent "was" the bracket for my bike, oer Givi. There was no way possible for the PL 442 to fit the 2005-2006 zzr600. Now Givi states that if the PL442 did not fit, they do not have a bracket to fit the bike at this time.

Now for TwistedThrottle.com's customer service. They have the best customer service that I have delt with in a long time. When I was in the ordering process, they contacted Givi. Givi confirmed the part to them. TT contacted Givi after I found out that the bracket did not fit. They set up the return process with a full refund. I will be ordering from them in the future. They are also looking at different companies for me this week to see if they can find a mounting brackets with hard cases. They have gone above and beyond what I expected.

Here's my email to Givi. We will make them get it right. Because I might be interested in a set of the smaller E360 bags painted silver. Which is one of Givi basic color options for there bags.

To whom it may concern,

A member of www.sportbikes.net recently purchased a set of PL442 side racks for his 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600 from twistedthrottle.com. He was advised that the racks would fit his bike. He was going to mount a set of E21 bags. He was then advised by Givi that this rack does not fit the 2006 ZZR600. And per Givi at this time there is not side rack system currently available for the ZZR600 for hard bags. I challenge Givi the engineer and produce a tubular side rack mounting system that will allow the attachment of the E21, or E360 hard bags to the 2005-2006 ZZR600. The bike is basically the same bike as a 2000-2002 Kawasaki ZX6R. I would also suggest that during the design process you consider the mounting points for the side racks. Keeping them to a minimum. And only use three mounting points on each side of the bike. Two at the passenger grab handles and one at the point where the passenger foot pegs attach to the bike. I would also like to see the side rack have the capability to be attached to the motorcycle without loosing the passenger grab handles like in some of your other applications for various other bikes. Challenge!

Very well put. I think that we need to get as many people as possible to send them the same. The more the merrier and it increases the chance of getting them made.

No problem. Every needs to go onto the Givi USA website and tell them.

I also thinking about giving them a call. I will keep you posted.

Here's the response I got from Givi this morning. We will see how long this takes and if anything ever happens.

Dear Jay,

Many thanks for your e-mail, as we do not undertake the manufacturing here in the US I will forward your request to our R&D department in Italy. Should they decide to pursue this request I will of course let you know.

Thanks again for your request, we will keep you informed of any progress.

Best regards,

Paul Collins
