Default good price on a 2005 ZXR600?

A nearby dealer has one leftover 2005 ZZR600J for sale at $6708.00, and its a special deal with no freight and setup fees. So, in my state, with license and sales tax, that should be about $7450.00 out the door.Another dealer quoted me about $8200.00 out the door-but that may have been a 2006?
The first dealer also has a leftover 2005 Z750S at $6464.00. These prices seem pretty good to me.

I guess the first thing I'd ask is why has the bike sat there for a year?
Nice deal about no freight and setup fees though. essentially you're saving about 800 to a grand by going to the same bike as the 2006 but the fact that it's a year old. I assume it has no miles on it right? I dunno, if I were given that choice when I bought mine I would probably have considered the 2005. I like the 2006 silver a little more myself, though. Not that big on blue...
My 2006 was about 8200-8300 before tradein so that 8200 was probably a 2006. Or a ridiculous ripoff for a 2005.

It seems high for a one year old bike. I got my '05 ZZR in October 2005 for about 7200 OTD.

I got my 06 for 7600 otd in September of 05. Ya just gotta let them know you have the money to buy a bike and they can sell this one for this price or you will go elsewhere! Usually they will deal with you. Be serious and firm but polite when you talk with them.
