Default How to replace front turn signal

I just ordered some goddies but before they get here...how do I remove the front turn signals to moutnt the flush ones? Looks as if the whole front fairing needs to come off but there has to be a better way.

I did this a while back so it's hard to remember exactly what I did. It seems like it is just a rubber grommet that holds it in. I took my fairings off because the turn signals I got needed an adaptor to be bolted on. This is what I used: http://www.motrax.co.uk/Index_pages/...indyspacer.htm

Before you go cutting any wires LP sells these wire jumpers with the Kawi factory connector on the end. It's pretty nice.

Here are some pics I took, they aren't the greatest quality but show my bike.
