Default Brakes squeek when cold??

Does anyones brakes squeek when there cold? Mechanic said that it was pretty normal due to the bike having metal pads. Its annoying though!

Yes they do, sometimes. Cold exaggerates every mechanical condition or noise. Make sure the back of the pads are smooth, not burred. Then spray some disk brake quiet on the back of the pads, let it dry and reinstall.

mine squeak when braking from about 3 or 4 mph to 0, only a little bit and I've only noticed the fronts doing it. Then again the bike only has 250 miles on it right now so I'm cool with it. If it still does it in 500 miles I'll be less cool with it.

I removed my pads and applied the red stop squeek to the back of the pads and now Ive only heared it once or twice. This was a month ago and it took maybe 20 minutes to do.
