wait till you hit 14k. You will think it is the fastest bike ever. LOL, have fun but be carefull, at 9k, you are barely in your power band.

its true, wait til you get higher up in the rpms it is pretty cool, especially when you get to go from 8 to 14 and then shift and do it all over again.

Im in the teens now!! This bad boy has a lot of torque...I have to use work out my legs more to hold on making that 1st to 2nd shift!

Its a nice rush to push it right up to the redline. I remember the first time pushing it 11k, then 13k and it was fun!

I'm desperately waiting to get through breakin! man o' man 4000 rpm is killing me! 250 miles to go and I can go to 6000! Which will probably still suck.

Gotta break it in right, I guess Unlike my last bike I'll know this one was broken in correctly.

Yeah take your time to do it as close as right as possible. 6000 RPMs will be better at first but then that gets old too. When I took mine in for its first oil change the mech said congratulations and I asked what for. He said your all broken in but I still took it easy until I had the required milage.
Believe me when I say that bike is a rocket!
