Go to www.hugeindustries.com for the fender eliminator and turn signals. Thats where I got mine. works great. The people at Huge Industries are great to deal with and they get you your stuff fast. Also try Targa, Ron Ayers, 58 cycle, Lockhart-Phillips, and sometimes your local shop, unfortunately some local shops just look at you with that "deer in the headlight" look and wonder why you want to change things on your ride. Also try www.superbrace.com, they make a great fork brace that improves front end feel and feedback. And just for the Squid/bling factor you could get a digital gear indicator, I like mine, but in reality it's just for looks for most riders. As for the high mount, you could probably get an exhaust shop to custom weld a pipe for you, my local guy said it was do-able for a few bucks and the right amount of elbow grease to mount it properly.

I like your zzr ifgshooter. Do you have ss lines on there. Is that a targa cowl on the back? Seems like they are the only ones who make one for our bike, but i was worried about getting one but it looks sick on there. And with your flush mounts, did you have to buy the adaptor plates? Well nice lookin bike.

Galfer stainless lines, and a Targa seat cowl. Got the cowl from www.exoticsportbike.com for $119.00 and ordered the paint from www.colorrite.com and painted it myself. It ended up a shade darker because I put on one extra coat of blue, but at night or in the right sunlight its harder to notice. I ordered a set of airbox plugs from www.ronayers.com to cover the front holes in the tail when I take off the rear grab handles(part #92066-1389). Pyramid and www.powerbronze.co.uk make a cowl for our bikes but because they're British companies, the cowls are pricey to ship, but they are cool looking. The fronts are Lockhart-Phillips flushmount V's mounted backward and then Dremeled down on the rear to fit the bodywork better, no adapter plates involved. Although there is a small gap under the flushmounts, you can only see it when you kneel down and look close. I plan on getting a set of signals and adapters from www.hugeindustries.com to match the rear signals or a set of flushmounts from www.greggscustoms.com. Depends what my after Christmas funds look like. I like your idea about the 636 wheels, i'll have to check into that. I had a line on some clean used Marchesini wheels but almost died when I found out the price was just a few bills below MSRP, broke my heart, those would have looked sweet. But I don't think they would have fit, they were off a ZX10R.

Hey Thanks Alot!!!! I will probably just do a wheel exchange for the chrome wheels. Hey what about the frame sliders - did you just used the ones from the zx6 (zx600J) model?

Yes, sort of. It has a pin like the OE rear seat, but the front has a pin also. Both pins are adjustable for depth/height so you can get a fairly decent flush fit, although I would still prefer a front mounting like the OE rear seat. The cowl pad leaves alot to be desired, it seems to show alot of wear over a short time. Then again, it is just foam. I need to find a racing type rear pad for it or just take the pad off completely, which would still look nice. Anyone know where to get a decent rear pad?

Sorry to keep grillin you with question ifgshooter but, those plugs you are getting to fill the holes for the rear handles, are they just universal black rubber plugs to just fill it or are they shaped to fit flush?

Not a problem, thats what we're all here for. From what I can tell they fit fairly flush. You alredy have a set on your bike, they're under the tank on the top of the airbox The pics below are from badassjake over at kawiforums. He did this mod and said they fit really nice and have'nt even tried falling out so I ran with his idea. It looks pretty clean with a dark colored bike. He has since installed a custom tail on his ride from a newer('03-05) ZX6R. Both of them look cool. As soon as mine arrive I'll take some close-up pics and post 'em. I should see them in the next few days I hope. Keep the questions and mods coming, they keep the mind working when the weather gets cold.

Fedex delivered the plugs this morning. Installed without a hitch. I need to find a pair of shorter bolts to fill the holes where the rear of the handles mounted, the stock bolts are a bit too long. Otherwise the handle-free tail looks good. I tried the hardware store but they closed early due to it being Christmas eve. I'll try again in a couple of days to see if they still have the nice stainless bolts that would fit.

The wheels on the 636 have the same specs as the ZZR's, but I don't know if you will need different spacers to make it fit in the ZZR swingarm. I believe the 636 wheels would be the shit on a ZZR, especially polished or chromed. The tires are the same size as well. I looked at www.ronayers.com and the parts fiche for the '05 ZZR600 and the '05 ZX6RR appear to have the same parts. Best bet would be if anyone had an actual wheel off an old Ninja/ZZR600 and '05 636/6RR and check the physical measurements. I'm still looking in my area, but nobody seems interested in getting rid of their old 636 wheels.

I was also thinking of slapping on some rimstripes from www.tapeworks.com.
anyone have recommendations as to which color would go good with '05 metallic ocean blue? too many colors to decide on.

I have checked out Tape Works also. Good Luck tryin to decide. I am going to go with the tribal flames (I have the silver zzr) or a custom chrome Big "K" for the fairings that they offer. It is going to depend on if I can find the chrome wheels or not. If I can't find my wheels I will do the tribal flames (Met. Silver and Red). The Big K is located under OTHER PRODUCTS, AND THEN 1000'S OF LOGOS. Its just though tryin to find stuff for the bike!!!!!!!!!!
