Looking At One
Hey Never typical, I need to see if I can get some assitance from you. I am riding a ZX10, and my girl is wanting a bike. I taught her how to ride on my 96 ZX6E, which was just a trick bike, and its gone now. She really like that 05 ZZR600. Can you give me some insight about the bike? Hows the handleing and power and the overall rate that you would give it? This is going to be for a women that 5'6" about 120lbs with little experiance. I have been wanting to teach her on the ZX10 but she cant touch the ground and its a little to much power if she grabs a hand full. I would greatly apreciate it. Email is Rocketrider69@aol

Never...have you owned any other bike other then this? Any other 600 bike? If so how does it compare? I'm looking at another bike and I keep getting drawn back to this bike. Looks, price and like you mentioned insurance. I liked the fit of it when I sat on it but the last bike was already taken for.
How is the power of it? Does it seem just as quick as a normal 600? What are some of the cons of the bike?
Thanks for the input. I'm pretty much decided but I guess i need something to push me over the fence.
I used to ride an F4i...just fyi

Its an all around perfect fit. It definitely isn't as fast as some of the other new 600's out there.. but its truly fast enough. I've gotten up to, if not passed, over 145mph (at least). And considering its based on the 00-02 Ninja, aftermarket parts are all out there.... I would suggest this bike to anyone looking for something comfortable, fast, fun, and looking to spend their saved couple of grand on some gear, accessories, and a nice road trip somewhere...

Good write up on it.
I don't like the fact though that there is no "low fuel" light

I just added a D&D Slip on to it the other day... W O W ... that fn thing is loud. Here is a pic of how it looks....

Yeah....I've got one....bought in December
I love mine! Has alot more uummppphhh than I thought it would. Kinda depressed though because its nearly impossible to find accessories like slip-ons and stuff. Did get the turn signals installed though. Looks much better with the "mickey" ears gone! I would post a pic but not sure how.
