Default Changin to a 520 chain....questions.

Im changing to a 520 chain, but I have a couple quick questions.

What are our stock front and rear sprocket count?

I have the Kawi Manual, but it doesnt list the sproket teeth count.

Best I can figure is the rear is a 44 tooth and the front is a 15.

Also when converting to a 520 chain vs. a 525 chain, how should I order sprokets for the bike, I cant order stock sprokets, or +/- sprokets that are made for the bike...Any help, or links would be greatly appreciated..

-Jake

first i think the stoc is 16/44. go to redmonkey.com/7r and search sprocket and you should find alot of info on it. i have 520 on my bike and the best setup i think is 15/46, the top speed drop but i think it is worst. there is a link here about the weight saving envolving a 520 so check it out.good luck

I think stock is 16/43 try kneedraggers.com, it lists it when you go to order sprockets.

It is a 16/43. a lot of companys do have 520 chain conversion kits( sprockets& chain).
If your going to get all new you should try to get a 45 rear or a 15 front or both. I have one on my 96 7R I believe every thing was RK to start with now I run a DID chain and love it far better than RK.
