I went -1 up 2 and my top speed is not the best, I keep getting spanked by little bikes especially on the track. My top speed now is aobut 130-140. For shifting I usually shift around 10-11 on the track and keep her above 6 grand ( I THINK, I never really look at the speed or rpm on the track I just listen to the engine and shift at that "sweet spot". On the street I shift about the same but keep her rpm's around 5. I do this because I get better torqe and response, But as you will see as people respond, everyone is different, you have to take into consideration, the elevation (I am way up her in AZ). the tempature, the road and all just do what is comfortable for you. Take her to a few track days and let her rip and try out different shift rpm's until you find one that you feel comfortable.

best launch and shift points? hmmm well just take off normal like and shift when you feel the revs are high enough for the given situation. You can rev past the red line in every gear if you want...
