Lately i have been getting some good wheelies, about 4 to 5ft or so and i thought i would try sitting next to the gas tank lol its weird cause you have to work at it when you next to ur tank but if you move ur butt back like 5 to 10 inchs its alot easier, im sure if i practices at it more i could get to bp no problem but i need to work on using the gas while in the air and i am getting my 45 tooth sprocket on friday so i will let you guys know how that goes

not much diffrence from 43 to 45.
i think its worse cause u hit the rev limiter much quicker with 45, thuse shortening the wheelie.

I have a 45 on the rear now. The thing that I noticed is it seems like when I try to wheelie I end up spinning the tire. My brother has a 99 zx-7r w/ stock gearing I think it is aliitl eaiser to whellie. However mine will move of the line alot faster and w/ roll ons is faster.

I run -1/+2 and I love the way it feels. My buddy says he's surprised it doesn't feel less like the R1 he rides.

I was out last night practicing wheelies for like 2-3 hrs and I can just power it up sometimes with stock gearing but I have to have the timing perfect...so I started to practice clutching em up and after a few tries ITS WAY EASIER AND CONTROLLED. I now just have to work on being consistant and not freaking out when it comes up right away to 11:00 and stay on the gas so I can ride em out through the gear!

so what rpms do you pull the clutch in and what rpms do you let it out? I have -1/+2 and I really can't wheelie it too high, but I think I just freak out when it comes up.

Well before when i tried the wheelies i just has the -1 in front then i got the +2 in the rear but before the +2 i was going about 20mph pulled in the clutch and rev up to um i think 7 or 8 to get it up past 3 feet now i did that but i was only at 6 i think i it went up quick, my friend the was next to me said i went up to the top of my mirrors but when i got that high i let of the gas cause i didnt expect it to go that high, so how high in the RPM's are you going?

My 1996 ZX7R will come up on the gas in frist just by rolling on the throttle aslong as i have traction. Mind you its -2 in the front, my buddie could wheelie his 99 7R with stock gearing but it would only come up a foot or two.
I clutch mine up in second or just crank on it when I come over a knoll.

My bike has a yosh slip on jet kit, the pollution garbage removed.

I get em up to about 5.5k-6k pull the clutch to about 8.5k-9k and dump. Comes up to about 10:30 or so and then its all in that right hand...did lots of practice this weekend and can now wheelie on command and for the whole gear almost everytime

I am trying to shift. Now I go to about 40 mph, clutch and grab a hand full, and I mean hand full of throttle, it comes up and I am trying to shift to 2nd. So far, I haven't had enough time to shift, so I am still trying to get this one down. I got the 1st gear clutching down. Of course I still have stock gearing, but I can do it everytime now.
