Power band issues

For some odd reason, my power band does not seem to be really kicking in until about 9k rpms in any given gear. It feels like I have a weak power band at 6k rpms, then a turbo kicks in at 9k. I had a friend ride my bike and he said it seems like the ram air or a weak fuel pump. Any clues?

That sounds about right.

Mine runs like a dog less than 5000 rpms. Once that hits, it screams like a bat outta hell.

Stock gearing?

Clogged air filter perhaps?

Mine bogs also under 5k rpms but above that she screams...but definately before 9k. Check your air filter...
