Default Painting the rear seat

I was thinking I really wanna keep my rear seat but it won't have the sporty look because its black...Also rear fiberglass seat covers go over 100. Has anyone spray painted theirs the same color as the tail? If so would the spray paint stay and not stick on ur pants?(since the seat its like leather)
Here is what I'm thinking to do with mine..Any suggestions?

you might try to find some matching leather and recover the seat yourself to match the paint.

You could try Second Look seat skins. But if not, the covers by Targa are pretty high quality, my buddy has one on his 929, but then again its not cheap.

don't do it! that is what we call butchering.
no need to paint something not meant to be painted when you could just reupholster it.

my opinion.

nice bike... and subs

yea I have thought of getting a matching leather but that would be too hard due to the white color from the sides..I think I'm just going to get one of those covers(im afraid someone will seat on it and bent it)
do some just go over the rear seat...or you take the seat out and put the cover on...
So much to do when you buy a used bike

My bike used to be the same color and the guy i bought it from got rid of the purple parts and painted it black. Seat and everything and the paint does not come off on my girls pants. Not sure what kinda paint he used but hey it works.

Noleaf, the Targa ones are very solid, you could almost sit on them, as they replace the pax seat completely, think trunk lid. For awhile, Second Look was making seat covers that matched factory paint jobs.
