Default zx7r running hot???

hey i'm new to this site. but i'm liking what i see on here.
i just had a question about my 96 zx7r. does anyone elses zx7r run hot? not the temp guage or anything, but like the headers and frame on mine gets hella hot. like the frame is as hot as the engine. and the heat from the headers is so hot my shins start burning. i've wrapped my headers and it helped a lil bit but it's still hot. any help would be nice. any inputs? thanks in advance.

She's a big girl. Puts off a lot of body heat.

As long as your temp gauge is in the norm your ok. Your legs are right there next to the vents for the exhaust and engine, so you catch a lot of the heat. nice in the cooler months, sucks in the hotter ones.

I know what you mean dude! I only really notice it when the fan kicks on on a really hot day-when stopped of course.
