Mid-season maintenance sucks!

I hit my 7500 mile service interval much sooner than I expected. I bought a new pit bull forward folding stand and some pro-impact slider spools and it was on like donkey kong!

This was my bike at about 6:30 last night.

This was it a 9:30 when I stopped.

I'm taking a lot of pics along the way and plan on putting together a small page with them on it and info for others. I feel kinda like I'm flying blind and the service manual is weak on a few things. I've already come across several Remove Part X as the full instructions for removing something. Lame. Anyway, hope to have the bike back together in a week or two and put another 2k+ miles on it this season.

i have a 99 thats nearing 7000 miles, but this is the first time ive heard of the 7500 mile service. what all does it involve?

Pretty much everything that is serviced is due at this interval. It should be in the owners manual or service manual if you have it. The big part is the valve check/adjustment which is the part I'm on now.

my 96 zx7r suppos. has 40'000 miles on it...thats doing what you're doing now how many timesssss....damn i lost count lol

mines is closing in on 17K...i have a 99...i need to look into what service may be up on it
