Default What color is the stock chain?

I'm just wondering if I have an aftermarket chain or not. My chain is gold colored. Is there any markings somewhere that I should look for? I looked at the chain and can't seem to find anything. It's an '03 btw if it makes a difference.

Most of the ZX-7R's chains were black, but I believe the last year (2003) they came stock with a gold chain.

Thanks I'll check for any markings more carefully.

KMW ZX7R: You're asking if I'm Polish? No I'm not, I just like the letter Z for some reason...

Yeah dude makes sense you would think that

I found some markings on it, it says RK R02, it's a 525 chain. I want to go with a 520 conversion eventually. My plans for this season is to save enough for:

1) Float bowl mod (free), but then I want to get the carbs properly jetted on a dyno
2) Stainless steel brake/clutch lines
3) New tires (not sure yet but probably Pilot Powers)

We'll see...

Thats a good start i did most the stuff u are doing havent had a chance to test the brakes yet waiting for the EBC rotors, did the line by Wolfork UK company nice set. If ur planning on doing the brakes u might wanna invest in a brake bleeder kit makes bleeding the front brakes 100% easier. When u decide shoot me a pm ill send u the kit i have i paid like 30 bucks u can have it for like 10 bucks.
Also did the float bowl mod easy but make sure u go with the factory Pro jet kit, its alot better than the dyno one.

Oh yeah, actually I was looking into that just yesterday, it's probably the first thing I'll do since it's affordable enough and everybody seems to be saying it's great.
