Default gas mileage

I have a question for the ninja750 riders specifically and all in general. I seem to be getting really bad gase milage. Like under 30 miles per gallon with a combo of highway and city riding. I bought the bike used and it has a K'N filter with a Micro exhaust. I just threw some new plugs in last july the performance plugs, irradium i beleive). I'm beginning to think the carb was not jetted. What are your thoughts?

Bought mine used as well and seem to be getting 30-35 mpg. Have a K&N, exhaust, and re-geared. Not sure on the jetting in mine either. Planning to get it on a dyno this summer and find out for sure.

I get between 40-45 mixed riding, not really getting into it much. I'm bone stock though.

I get around 30 mpg (120 miles to tank) and that is with -1 in the front, Factory Stage 1 jet kit, and a Muzzy full stainless exhaust system.

And my fat 225lb. ass!

Now my mileage will be worse when I cain the shit out of my bike trying to keep up with buddies.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner....haven't been around here in a few weeks.

To answer your question though.....I don't know. It was so long ago (1999) and I had the dealership do it. I just know I paid for a Factory Stage 1 jet kit. As to what size they put in....I have no clue. Sorry.
