I don't know why it is that long. They are goodridge SS lines and the package listed 99-02. The fronts were perfect as they connect from the master to the calipers.
Lookin good!!
I forgot that Kawasaki still sold that bike new until '03.

Are you sure that's supposed to be a rear brake line and not a clutch line?
The packaging did indeed list "brake line", complete with installation directions on the back. I can't confirm that Goodridge didn't mistakenly put a clutch cable in packaging for a brake line but probably unlikely.
I'd take a measurment of that line and email goodridge and ask them.
If they did accidently pack the wrong line in your kit, maybe they'll send you a new one for free and you can move that to the clutch.
You were indeed correct. The line is for a clutch. I emailed the vendor inquiring about the length of the line and they thought it might have been inproper installation. I emailed pics and explained it was routed in the same manner as the OEM. As I was awaiting their response, I took another look at the packaging. Although, the packaging does say Brakeline Kit, there was another label affixed to it. This label is small (1" /1.5" wide) with very small (6 font) lettering running together. Upon closer inspection, it says "Clutch Line Kit". I called them today to see how we're going to remedy the situation (awaiting their response). I going to also contact Goodridge as well.
