They all went out all of a sudden or is it just one bulb?? If they all went out, you probably have a loose connection to your gauges, check your wires.

Is your tail lamp still operable? I just had my instrument panel and rear lamp go completely out. It was the fuse.

I've changed 'em out before. Even changed the color to green. It's easy to do, and don't even have to take the cluster apart. If the fuse is still good, just get to the back of the cluster by removing the front fairing. Find the wires that run into each of the little rubber cap looking thingys, and pull lightly on the cap. The bulbs sit in a holder that uses this rubber cap for friction in the opening. Once you have the holder and bulb out of the cluster and dangling by the wires, just pull the bulb straight out of the holder and get some new ones from the local auto parts store. There's nothing fancy about them and if I remember correctly they are #174 or something close to that. I found them in a couple of colors other than white, but they were too dim to see the gauges. Just install the reverse way.

Thanks all, yep it was my light bulbs I thought it would be hard to do which is why I was stalling on doing it. But since I had my bike apart for her new paint job it was easy.
