How does this ZX-7R sound?
So I'm looking at this 2000 ZX-7R with 18000 miles on it. The owner's asking for $4500-4900.
What are your thoughts on it? The bike seems to be in good condition; however, the mileage is high.
Also, I would really like to hear some opinion on this bike, especially some cons. Appreciate it.

My first bike was 1999 ZX7R with just over 19000 miles. I paid $4200 with only a carbon fiber slip on for mods to the bike. Mine ran great with over 20,000 miles when sold. My only complaint was how heavy it was. Compared to lots of other bikes I found it to be a little on heavier side.

I used to have a black ZX-7R. (hence the username)
Loved it. Some d*ckless piece of crap stole it from me.
Mine had 24K miles and I regularly revved it into its limiter even with
24K miles, and it loved every minute of it. (redline is 12,500, limiter 14K)

I have over 44k on mine, so the engine is just about bulletproof as long as you take care of it. This one seems like a pretty good deal, I would offer towards the low end to start. Is it stock? The only real con is the weight, but it actually helps with the bike being soo good in corners. The 7 is known for this, I may not be able keep up with the newer bikes in a straight line, but in the corners I can make it up, of course the rider is also factored in. Just make sure you check all the normal stuff, ie fork seals, frame and forks for damage, brakes. I still get questions/looks about mine from the the real riders, not the squid who just bought a Gixxer for his first bike and thinks he can ride just because he can get the front up. Sorry, venting alittle!

18000 miles is nothing. thats low mileage IMO. you will love that bike dude. the 7R is a super stable corner railer....and its fast too!

Now you all know that silver is the best color. It's not my fault that the factory wasn't smart enough to figure this out.
