Someone took the tire off and didn't put the caliper back on the right way.

I would get that looked at bro. How long have you been riding with it like that?

Where is all the extra brake hose, since it is not wrapped around the axle?

AAAhhhh!!!!! Yes, you need to fix that ASAP! Take the rear axle out, take the wheel out, and position the caliper mounting bracket correctly. It has a groove on it (visible from your picture) that slides onto a large tab on the inside of the swingarm. Then reassemble.

You might wanna think about replacing that rear brake line now that it's been all kinked like that for who knows how long.

If some one were to change the front sprocket would they have to take off the back tire?

At the least you'd need to take off the chain, but that usually requires that you loosen the rear axle nut so you can move the rear wheel forward to get enough slack to remove the chain.

Well i already have one down in front, the reason i asked is cause i took my bike to get the 15 tooth on, and i was wondering if the kaw dealer messed that up but it might have been like that before

Are all years of the 7R the same, meaning the rear brake?

You took your bike to a dealer and they didn't notice that brake? Don't go back there.

I know 96-03 are all the same. dunno about prior years.

Yes. On 96-03 models.

I would seriously get that checked out/changed real quick. The brake line is all kinked. How well does your rear brake work?
