omg its one of the easiest things on that bike you will ever do.
remove lower right fairing, remove two screws holding on collant bottle, remove coil cover, place wrench over large nut in center on rotor, put in a allen wrench on center bolt, loosen center bolt and take out, pull off rotor, slide new rotor on, replace center bolt (use lock tite) replace coil cover ( use silicone (high temp), collant bottle, right lower fairing...ride.

I've heard the flo commander doesn't do a damn thing on correctly jetted bikes. I believe it was sport rider...
Anyway, I was looking at doing a -1 simply because it's easier (in my opinion) to install than the rear and exchanging 500 RPM for quicker build times sounds good to me. Where did you order your sprocket from?

bought it from JT (15t sprocket)
as for the Flo Commander, yer wrong. most people who claim it does nothing never tried it but attempted to make it themselves....dumb ass's. now there are MANY many people who have bought them and sware by them.
most people don't even know what they do. If you would like ill explain it to you.
would love to read that article though :p

ok i checked it out on my way to work. -1 tooth in front and at 70mph the needle was a hair over 5 grand. at 80mph a hair over 6 grand, but now that i have an ignition advancer installed my rpms are as follows, 70mph 5.5 grand and at 80mph 6.5 grand, so the ignition advancer adds about 300 to 400 rpm.

IIRC, they tested it on an 00' ZX6R. I'll scan the article if you're interested.
