Default Aftermarket plastics?

I am lookin to buy an '05 636 with 3280 miles. Runs great and stuff, but the plastics look like ass. As if someone painted them in their back yard. I was lookin on ebay to see how much replacement plastics would cost. Well I found a set for $500, Some company in Korea or Japan. Has anyone bought plastics off ebay and would you recommend doing so? Thanks

So they just look like shit cause of the paint? If so, fuck new plastics, strip and sand the old ones and repaint them.

yeah take the plastics off and look for old cracks/repaired points. If it dont look too bad just get em painted again.

I would be more concerned with why the plastics look as bad as they do, for a bike of that Vintage.
