Default Valve Adjustment schedule

Greetings,
I need your input. REX has 7200 miles and I have questions about when the valves need to be adjusted. My owners manual says 7500 miles but the guys at the local shop say 16,000. Which one is correct? Thanks for your help.

I'd have them checked. (I checked mine - all OK). The word from the ZRXOA.org crew is that the ZRX prefers "tight" valves.

Plus, since you're well within the typical owners' group demographic, you'll probably keep this bike for a long time, no?

May as well not take chances.

Thanks for the reply. Kind of what I was thinking, better to be safe than sorry. I do want REX to be with me a LONG time.
