Talking 04 1200 On Dyno

Well, I ran the new Rex on the dyno at school this morning. It's a pretty good feeling to test out your own bike on the dyno like that, glad I got a chance to do it.

Unfortunately, we had no way to print up sheets today, so I'm hoping to have some in a couple days.

Anyway, gory details:
-04 ZRX1200
-Muzzy Pipe
-Jet Kit (of undetermined source)
-Ted's advancer

Ran a 120.5 for a high. However, air/fuel curve went from 13.7 @ idle and low end to 11.7 about halfway through the run. So, gotta drop the main jets from the jet kit, and figure out where it was set. I haven't done any of the work, bought it with everything on it last week, so I'm curious to see where it was set, and how it was set up.

I'm pretty satisfied though, I was hoping for something in the 120's with the mods and it should come up a few more once it's carbs are tuned a little better.

Can't wait to drag it now!!

I went ahead and changed the stock turn signals. However now they don't blink right so I bought a two post electronic flasher to fix the problem, and now I don't know where the old one is. Can you help me. (no owners manual)

Default dyno

put my 05 (green of course) on a portable one at a local bike shop . full muzzy system , ivan jet kit/air box mods, teds advancer. 125 h.p. ivan thinks it dyno's low. should be in the 130 range. everybody's dyno is diff. had it on one at the local bike nite, 110 h.p.! fuel curve was right on for both.D.

I have an o3 that's jetted, full exhaust (DnD) ted's advancer, and pod filters and I'm pushing 133-135 hp on 2 different dyno's. Wish I knew where the torque was.
