Default When will Kawasaki put FI on the Rex?

Any rumbles? If it had FI, I'd have one by now.

And please, not interested in retrofitting FI and tuning.

Kawasaki maintains a vapid glazed silence and my dealer "has no idea".

Kaw better fix it or I'll get a VMax. Different, I know, and not FI, but I've many thirsts and this is what my gut wants.

Rumors? Links? Any spies out there?

Have you looked into a Z1000? I know it's not as comfortable as a ZRX, but it appears to have everything else you're looking for.

And BTW, if the ZRX was fuel injected, I'd probably have one too.

I have sat on and looked in detail at both the ZRX and the Z1000, but the Z1000, for whatever reason, fails to turn my crank.

I don't think riding my buddies FJ1200 has anything to do with this.

Perhaps we'll see more of the Kawasaki lineup migrate to FI over time. I hope the Rex gets it first.

Best guess is not ever. Its their big bore basment bike. Alot of us ZRX riders like to think of it as a canvas to perform our own art work to.
Its been done tho, along with turbos and single shock swingarms upside down forks etc etc

Well, I'll just have to see. I'm a couple thousand away from paying cash for a Rex, but Yamaha wants even more for the VMax. It IS the 20th Anniversary edition for the VMax, this year...

eventually emission requirements will force all road bikes to be fuel ing. i suspect some time in the next 5 yrs. whether this means the zrx gets fuel inj or the discontinue it is anyone's guess at this time.
