just wondering, if all the "revisions" compared to the old bike are all they are cracked up to be? thinking this will be my next bike

Yes, the new Z's are nice. If you're in the market for a Z, may as well get the latest and greatest instead feeling like you're a generation behind the times.

This is from someone who went from an 06 Z1000 to an 07 Ducati and BACK to an 08 Z1000.

traded my 07 zx10 for a 08 z1000 ! and dont regret it a bit,for the riding i do it is perfect combonation

I was really hoping to get an 08 Z1000, just not in the cards. Figured maybe another year or two and now they've discontinued them .. ahh well. I'll make do on the ZZR. The Z1k is just sooooooooooooooo damn nice.

Well now it IS my bike, I'm lovin every second of it.

My mods: CRG barend mirrors, Puig ORANGE windscreen, home-made fender eliminator, painted (white) lower fairing dealys, gutted and wrapped stock headers, PC3 with custom map, two brothers carbon slipons, sammanna systems servo substitute (prototype). Hoping to get on the dyno this year, also hoping for 120+ whp.
