Just spotted this today, impressive looking to say the least. Im having a hard time locating reviews. Anyone ride this bike yet? Would like to open up for some comments. I was thinking of a 650R, until I saw this today. (I like riding straight up.) Chime in please. (Need to sell the 250R 05 black with 1600 miles on it, hate to trade it, rather give someone a deal than the dealer.)

Sportbike: What's not to like about Naked Twins?
going from a ninja 250 to a literbike, no matter what the posture, is probably not a great idea... especially if you only have 1600mi. maybe if you had 6 or 8k, but 1600 is probably dangerously insufficient experience.
a leftover z750 might be a little better, but even then, that's a pretty enormous step up in power (35hp or so to 140hp+).
keep the 250 for another season or two, log some more miles, and then step up to a 600 or 650 (fz6, sv650/s, ninja 650R, etc).

Great advice! The 250 was actully brought by my son, he brought it and does not like riding. I've been riding it since. Now I have the "itch" again. This is my 7th bike so the 1000 is not as much of a worry, than the weight. This 1000 weighs just 452 lbs. I'm still concidering the 650R or the 07 FZ6 (fuel injec'd for 07). The two mid's are at least $2000 cheaper and that is worth the look by itself. Thanks for the advice your rate on.
