Default Bought my Z yesterday! Looking for pipes today!

I'm a newbie to the z1000 forum. Sold my ZX-7R to my roommate this week and bought the Z. I love my 7R, but it was time to stop the back-aches!

Anyways, looking forward to many comfy miles on this nasty little bike.

My first line of order, besides having already gotten rid of the rear fender and putting a slightly bigger windscreen on, is swapping out the mushy front brake line and getting a set of new slip-ons.

I've seen a set of Muzzys for this that weren't too $$ pricey, but I'm wondering what other Z owners are doing out there when swapping out those stock boat-anchors for something with more growl.

Any suggestions? Warnings? Advice??

I have Scorpions on my Z and love them. Nice rumble plus they have a lifetime garauntee. You should check out www.z1000.net. You'll find lots of info there. The most popular choices for the Z are Hindle, Two Brothers, and Muzzy. I think Blue Flame looks the best and from what others have said they sound great. They are a little expensive though. www.blueflameusa.com
