Default R6's wont start

can anyone help point me in the right direction? please?

I just bought an 05 R6, it had been downed pretty hard, I'm putting it back together, It is missing a few parts, and wouldn't start, missing the guage module, I just got one, and now with a battery charger on it, I try to start it, or at least kick it over and it sounds like a relay is clicking, near the battery, as if the battery is dead, but louder, and more pronounced, also the guage display reads ER_1 on the bottom.
Any Ideas where I can start t odiagnose and get it back on the road?

I also have a 2000, that just died yesterday.
It tried to kick over but wouldn't like it was out of gas, but I just filled it up.
or it will start up but sputter a lot then die.
When I turn the key on I used to hear a real fast clicking sound lke the fuel pump possibly now that click is extremely slow , is that just coinsidental?
Any idea's wher eI can start on this one, now with both dead I can't ride at all Help?
