Awesome mod. Thanks to cafercr35 for the idea and instructions. Just did mine yesterday. Looks great IMO.

problem
I got this mod done a while back maybe 2 months and now everytime I am riding down the road and hold the clutch down to slow down it will turn off just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. I am about to put my stock exhaust back on because I think its getting to much back pressure. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem before and how you fixed it. Im not running a power commander at the time, didn't plan on putting on on until I bought a k&n filter on.

I my bike does this but I have the stock exhaust. Do you also have poor idle when your bike is warm? My mechanic pinned it down to the idle cable unwinding. What you need to do is, find your idle point with the adjuster, then adjust another 500-1000 RPM up, then bring it back down that 500-1000 RPM to your idle point. The idle cable is somehow like a rubber tied to a screw, it wants to twist back into shape, and will with vibration. Find your spot, then twist forward, and then twist back to correct it.

Nothing is gained, rather HP is loss (not very much).
Under load it sounds good to me, the more RPM's the higher the pitch gets and the lower the RPM's, the lower the pitch is.

I finished the conversion on my 08 R6S.
Was stupid easy to perform. looks clean. the 08 r6 pipe had 8 miles on it before being given to me.
The good news. To the rider is sounds LOUD!!! Very Nice, very throaty under trottle high pitch just reving, so dont sit in your driveway revving it like a squid. but listening why friend rode the bike around its wasnt loud enough to have the cops on your tail. sounded just like my friends cbr1000 with his new 2 brothers.
Now the bad news. it killed my high end. this is due to the fuel leaning out in the higher RPMs. where i can normally cruise under 8-9k at 100-110mph im sitting at 10k to reach 100 and it doesnt feel comfortable there. So yea i will have to get a A/F PCM now but its all good. All in all. Not bad $40 shipped New Titanium Exhuast that would cost $600+ from aftermarket.
I just need to take that extra money get a K/N air filter and PCIII and I can get back power + some few ponies..
Before

Hey, to all who have done the conversion.
I think I angled mine a bit wrong, but when I lean into corners, I scrape the end of the muffler (AHHHH).
As in I'm leaning to the point of knee-dragging with the knee.
Does that happen to you guys?
MAN, but does it sound SO damn good, but yes, there is backfiring.

it may be the angle. I have not gotten low enough to strap it....but I did lean it on it's side and the peg hit before the can...of course this was without the weight of a rider or the gs created from the turn.

that was another possibility too. I was thinking the 2bros though because it looks to be smaller than the gyt-r and I personally like the sound of the 2bros over the gytr, but if I decide to do either one, i'll for sure take some pics of it.
