Default Temperature Range for 2000 R1

Ok I'm just took my R1 out for a ride wednesday when there was a break from the cold weather.

Here's what I noticed with temperature.
It's usualy below 150. It's always cooler when I'm in motion probably becouse it's being air cooled. However when I just let it warm up in my driveway it reached 210 at one point.

What should the temp range be for a 2000 R1?

um yeah, you most defintely need coolant in that bike. Don't ride it again until you get some. seriously. You will overheat at 241 (ask me how I know this btw). I'm hoping you have water, water wetter, engine ice, something in there.

I have no coolent in the system right now so I figure these temps are sort of low.

Do I need coolent with this motorcycle? It looks like the previouse owner rode it without coolent...

Dude put some coolant in that beotch!! lol.... you dont want to mess something up. Good temp range is like anywhere from 150 on a cool day, or when you just start it up........... to about 210 - 215 on a hot day or when your sitting still. While driving the bike, temp should be around 165 - 180...
