Default Info on new R1's needed

I have a 02 yzf600r that I like just getting a little slow and long in the tooth, I've put 20,000 miles on it in the two yrs I have owned it. My question is on the new 05's has yammi had any isssues? Also I want the Raven, but how hard is it going to be to find that color, and as for retail what are they going for out of the dealerships?

As far as mods go, I think one of the first will be to clean up the rear a little and definitely a double bubble windscreen(my body would never fit behind a stock screen)

Except in Canada, the 05 R1s in North America/US are mechanically identical to the 04s. The minor quirky issue that was slightly common to the 04 was the sticking clutch plates. You could either work around it and it resolves on its own, generally within 1000 mi, or you could opt for a more immediate fix by soaking the clutch plates overnight in oil. As far as your question RE availability of the "Raven" R1, to me it is only a black color option. You'll simply have to check dealerships in your geographic area to see how available they are. There is one on the floor in my local dealer, and I'm sure it will be there for some time to come.
