Default R1 Fuel Injection

A quick question for all you R1 owners, what year did the R1 go to FI? I know the R6 did in '03 but what about the R1? It was redone in '02 and '04 right?

2002 was the first year for EFI. And yes, the bike was redone in '02 and '04.

Hmm,
Actually the 02/03 model wasn't truelly EFI.
The still incorped throttle bodies, but used suction pistons.
It was more like 50/50efi.

04 went 100% EFI with secondary butters.
