XMRA COMPETITION NUMBERS
Any racer that has a current and valid NHRA, AHDRA or AMA/PROSTAR Competition Number, you may invoke either of the following numbering options:
A) If your valid number is a 4 digit Comp Number, it will be mandatory to affix an "X", RED in color, to the end of your issued Comp Number. It will be the rider's/owner's responsibility to produce and affix this symbol to the number upon the machine.
EXAMPLE: 7007X
If your valid number is a 3 digit Comp Number, it will be mandatory to affix an "X", RED in color, to the end of your issued Comp Number. It will be the rider's/owner's responsibility to produce and affix this symbol to the number upon the machine. OR, the number may conform to our own 4 digit Comp Numbering that begins with the numeral "9", RED in color, preceding your current issued Comp Number.
EXAMPLE 1: 777X
EXAMPLE 2: 9777
B) Any racer may choose to forego the use of their current issued Comp Number to be replaced by our Comp Number. This XMRA Comp Number will only be good at XMRA events unless otherwise adopted and/or accepted by the other Sanctioning Bodies. In the event that a rider has a 5 digit Comp Number, the rider/owner may modify their current issued number to comply as above or may be required to use our 9000 range numbering system
EXAMPLE: 9000
The XMRA Official numbering system, with the NHRA being noticed, consists of the 9000 range invoked not to confuse with the active NHRA use of numbering ranges 1000 - 7000 and the International use of the 8000 range.
For the follwing racers, any racer holding a Championship Number from another racing body, group or organization will be acknowledged as holding such an honor but the use of this number in XMRA Competition will not be valid. Therefore, the current and valid racer's Competition Number or variation thereof must be used.
