XTREME SUPERSTREET* is the more agressive substrate of our original category developed in 10/2000.

* CATEGORY RULES NHRA APPROVED 10 AUGUST 2004

* Designation XST (An XMRA & TNLR exclusive program category)
* For machines 9.75** & quicker in the Quarter Mile
* Engine modifications permitted; Must maintain OEM appearance
* Pump & Racing Fuels; Nitrous systems permitted
* Turbochargers permitted
* Naturally aspirated & injected OEM engines
* Minimum 2" Ground Clearance mandatory
* 60" wheel base preferred: 68" maximum
* Chain Guard required
* DOT & M/T rubber only
* Steel braided brake lines required manadatory
* Minimum bar width of 22" minimum mandatory
* Steering damper mandatory; Front fork travel 1 1/2" mandatory
* Wheelie bars prohibited
* Ignition devices other than engine timing (CDI) devices prohibited
* Lanyard mandatory
* Must have one operating, 7-watt output minimum mandatory
* DOT-1800 pressurized containers mandatory
* Leather Jacket, gloves, over-the-ankle boots, Snell/DOT full-face helmet minimum mandatory. Full leathers if running 120mph of faster and/or quicker than 9.99 in the Quarter Mile mandatory
* Valid Competition License required for racers quicker than 9.99 mandatory
