Well I'm trying to get into stunting so yes wheelies are my thing right now. Now big ones gonna go down one in the front and then she will be easier for me. Right now she is parked on my porch in pieces I crashed Aug. 1st at the track but I'm itchin to get back out there.

I dont think your a chicken at all, I'd post up a pic of my friends ankle after he recked doing wheelie last year but most peoples stomachs can't handle it. Lets just put it this way, I can now set three fingers inside his foot/ankle b/c there is only 30% of it left. I think I'll stick to curvey roads
OUCH!! I think I remember reading about him...he was on I-4 wearing no gear doing it do right? Still...poor guy!!

i just got back from working on them...i think i got it up like 2 feet a couple of times (acutally trying to)...i need to practice more. all the guys I ride w/gun it at the lights so subsequently, they pop wheelies...i just use the torque to keep up, it would be nice to actually do one and show them a girl can do it too...

I tell myself to get back into doing um again, I used to have so much fun on the 900RR. Maybe I'll try somethis week end when the BF gets home.
But if any one wants to try um, I can tell you, DON'T try to do them in 1st gear! It's to unstable and it's better to be in second and doing at least 60-65 mph... Stand up, do a little jumping up and down as if your on a diving board, do like 2 pushes down on the handle bars and pop the throttle! Works EVERY TIME!! or just get a liter bike..
also, ask the stunt guys to teach ya or tell um to come in here and give a few tips!

I just take stuffing a guy in a corner railing through it...that's where my high comes from...not stuffing some guy but just going though corners leaned over...ahhh...the track is calling my name!!!

I secretely practice too. I am working on it, I honestely love them, its like riding my horse bareback and he spooks and rears up, a little leg pressure, balance and horsepower ~ away you go!

well, last night I popped it up twice of rather decent height. my bf was like let's see you wheelie, so i did 2 power wheelies in 1st gear. the first one he didn't see b/c i was behind him, but the guys behind me said it came up like 3-4 feet and the second, he was parked and we have a decent straight before entering into some curves, go dropped my revs', cracked the throttle, thought i was in second b/c it didnt' do anything, so i cracked WFO and up it came! WOW! it came up fast. chopped the throttle, slammed myself into the tank and generally needed to sit down for a few mintues afterwards, but then i went out and worked on skipping the front tire (which I actually like doing more)

Yeah he's a really close friend of mine, my boyfriends best friend, and our nest door neighbor. I ride with him on a regular basis. He just bought himself a new 1000rr, but he really has to be careful putting his foot down at lights he can't put any weight on the out side of it. He rides he just does it alot more modestly then he used, but of course he's still fast and crazy

crack the throttle, but watch out when you hit the powerband...it'll come right up.

Wheelie? Wheelie? Wheelie? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Can't seem to stop doing them. I did one by accident on my CBR 954 Thanksgiving of '03.... Haven't stopped since. I'm perfecting them. I do about 3 on average every time I go for a ride. Yeah, it's foolish, but I am an action junkie. I'll get what I deserve. Until then, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaa!!!!!

I did a wheelie last night by complete accident
Someone messed with my nice and sloppy clutch, I went to go adjust it back to sloppy, messed with it too much and my front end came up quite high for my liking, as I was making a right hand turn, almost went on the wrong side of the median and hit a car that was sitting there, but somehow put it down and finished turning in time, it was a close call!
