icequeen---have you gone to a dealership and asked them to order one in what you think may be your size?? And then ask if it doesn't fit what is their policy on getting the next size up or down. You may have to pay a restocking fee or you may not...just depends on the guy behind the counter and how nice you are when you ask him

I'm a little late posting to this thread beacause I just joined, but ... check out Icon's women's stuff. I've had problems with both Alpinestars and Joe Rocket, because I'm so tall. The arms are too short and the shoulders too narrow, etc. Anyway, Icon has some hot jackets and their women's specific cut is aggressive enough that it shows off our curves but protects in all the right places. Their new 2005 stuff is up on their site (www.rideicon.com) now, too. A caution though, their stuff is damn pricey. If you see something you like shop it hard on the net. I've seen decent deals on ebay which makes the pricetag easier to swallow.

The new ICON KITTY line is awesome. I bought the Icon Mainframe Fusion Kitty helmet and loved it so much that I bought the leather jacket and the leather chaps to match. I am in love with it. It was designed by a woman, specifcally for a woman. I researched on this site and then went to a local shop. However, a lot of places do not carry Icon or sports bike related gear for women.

Only problem with ICON womens gear is that the construction isn't made for a fall. It's junk! Like most manufactures of womens gear, it's made for style, not safety and function. Maybe one day they'll wake up and realize that women ride just as hard as men do. At least I know blndebmbr and myself do.

Just a side note, I went to your homepage to see some photos of your bike...they are relly great.
Especially the one that is completely black, except for the bike's headlights (DSC00734)...awesome.

Women don't only sit on the back anymore.
We need gear that fits AND protects.

From Gothicbeast's wife... DL650 chick (I need to register on this board)

I am a size 16 rider and I am really frustrated that most of the gear available from ICON and Joe Rocket are not sized for larger girls.

I even wrote Joe Rocket and told them I would love to buy more of their gear but the leather jackets are cut so small that I can't fit the "Girls" in them.

I hope I am not the only one with this problem
