Ok...I'm retarded and had just finished looking at the boots when I said which gloves I got. The gloves I got are the Stella GP Plus gloves, not the SMX-4, haha, those are the boots I was looking at. Major Brain Fart there!

Yea, I've been sick and just got around to catching back up and saw where you said something about them not classifying as gauntlet and I was like what in the world. So I went back and looked at my post and realized what a dumb mistake I'd made.
You mean I posted that nasty picture of my hands because of a brain fart?
LOL - actually, I post that photo any time I see someone post up asking questions about gloves that aren't up to the task of protecting a sportbike rider. If I can prevent just one rider from buying the wrong gloves, it's worth all the Viagra jokes and questions about keeping in touch with myself . . . .

I bought the Stella SP-2 gloves for my track day. I haven't worn them yet, other than putting them on in the house, but they feel very comfy and fit great. Thanks for pointing them out Tam!

I was just wondering if that happened at .6. Seems like a lot of results like that come from that area.
On the way to .6 - there is a 'Turn of Shame' that has collected more than its share of bike and riders. There is a very long straight (super fast) stretch of road that has a little hill at the end - crest the hill and there is a nice left hand turn in your face.

I've got the Joe Rocket women's Sonic gauntlets, which I love. Note that they do run large though (I went down a size from all my other gloves).
I've also got the Teknic Chicane (the first gen ones) - they're men's small actually. They're alright. I think I should've gone with a medium, cus they were just too short in the fingers to ever truly be comfortable, so I never wear them. But everyone else I know that has them looooooves them.

That's the problem with men's gloves. To get the right fit through the palm, the fingers are too short. To get gloves with long enough fingers, the rest of the glove is too big.

Ah, actually in THAT glove, I think if I'd just gotten the M, they'd have been perfect. I have 2 or 3 pairs of Alpinestars men's gloves, and the M's are perrrrfect. But generally speaking, yeah, the width of palm to finger lenght ratio isn't right in men's gloves. lol

I haven't tried Teknic gloves, so maybe they are better. Which ones do you have?
The a* mens gloves I have bunch up on my palm, esp near my thumb. It's really annoying when the bunched part is stuck between my hand and the throttle.
