This time it was a West Coast (of Fla) ride, and we headed to my new favorite place to ride: Ozello Trail!
It started out good, but about 10-20 miles into the ride, the rain started and kept going on & off all day.
Then one bike got a flat when something punctured the rear tire. And it happened pretty close to the middle of nowhere. Fortunately there was a golf club handy, so we rolled into there to see if we could borrow their air (one girl had a tire repair kit, but no CO2 cartridge). They were very helpful, and we were soon on our way again.
The rest of the day went well, and Ozello Trail was even mostly dry by the time we got there.
After we split up (after lunch), I headed down the Turnpike to go home, and got drenched again in a huge thunderstorm.

My bike is now covered in about 5 layers of road grime, sand & dirt. Guess what I get to do tomorrow?
