Hello to everyone! It's been so long since I've been on here, but I though I would show off Olivia who was born July 27. Hopefully I can get a chance to get back on the bike sometime in September. These first few weeks of motherhood are quite a challenge and test of patience but so worth it!! Here is a picture of her and Dad. Olivia0001.JPG
congrats, I'm about 6 weeks my self! I just sold my bike . I'm going through all the emotions....what a cutie you had there!
Thanks. I read your post, I know how you feel. I got my licence, took the course and bought a new bike last year and only got a summer of riding in before I found out in October that I was pregnant. The bike is still winterized. Hope you have easy pregnancy, I was lucky enough to sail through mine.
Thanks for the compliments! Realistically, how soon do you think is ok to get back on the bike. I know it's a personal question that can vary and I know there are moms out there also. Being the one and only food source, I sometimes feel a little hesitant to leave her, especially to get on a bike - but I really want to ride...

Any comments?
I'm assuming you are breastfeeding. Start trying to pump about halfway in between feedings. It's not easy (at least it wasn't for me) to pump out enough for a complete feeding at first, but you can freeze breastmilk. Once you have enough for a feeding or two, you're ready to go for a short ride! Be careful, though, as you have more than yourself to worry about when you're out (as I'm sure you are well aware!). Beautiful baby, and congrats!

I did my first track day when my daughter was three months old. I left her with my mom which made it little easier. After I did it I decided to wait a while to do my next one till my daughter was a little older. I did my second track day almost exactly a year later. I've been on the track 1-2 track weekends a month since then.
In your case, if you're only leaving her for a couple hours I wouldn't see an issue with it. My trips were much longer.
